Like / enjoy /love / hate / prefer + verb-ing
Če imaš nekaj rad (like, love), če v čem uživaš (enjoy), če kaj sovražiš (hate, not like) ali če imaš eno stvar raje od druge (prefer), to poveš takole:
I like ice-cream. I love my parents. I hate snakes. I don’t like Mondays. I prefer coffee to tea.
Če pa želiš povedati, da imaš rad, ne maraš ali da uživaš v neki DEJAVNOSTI, pa moraš glagolu, ki sledi (LIKE / LOVE / ENJOY / HATE / DON’T LIKE, PREFER), dodati
končnico -ING.
I like reading. I love dancing. I enjoy playing basketball. I hate running. I don’t like shopping. I prefer swimming to running.
